Thew PR 40 diversity portable receiver has been designed specifically for ENG and mobile video recording use. In conjunction with a wireless microphone, the PR 40 will solve any sound problem that may come up on location.

Place the wireless microphone and transmitter near the sound source and mount the PR 40 on the camera. This puts both the microphone and receiver right where the action is, with full mobility and no cables getting in the way.

The receiver shall be a miniature UHF diversity receiver with a single fixed receiving frequency between 710 MHz and 865 MHz and two folding antennas. The receiver shall provide an on/off switch with status indicator, a battery status LED, RF level LED to indicate that signal is being received, and an audio level LED. Fixed line level and adjustable headphone level outputs shall be available on a combined 2.5-mm output jack. Charging contacts on the receiver shall provide both rechargeable and conventional AAA size dry battery powering options. The audio bandwidth of the receiver shall be 40 Hz to 20 kHz. The receiver shall weigh 60 grams net without batteries, and operate for eight hours or longer off two AAA size batteries.
